Summer Camp and Vanna - The Real Details
While Buzzbee and Clawrence have put considerable time and effort into setting up camp and posting on social media, they may not have been clear. So, here’s the dirt right from LauraBird. This is a virtual, free, totally online faux summer camp run by a honeybird and a crab. In Bauble Bay. Clawrence, the crab, bought a domain and you can find the camp at www.campclawzee.com which is part of our regular The Baublesphere website.
Camp is for ANYONE - kids, adults, ghosts, crabs - we are all inclusive. Posts will be made on social media with the “challenges” of the day which are easy tasks anyone can do. You can then share photos or accounts of your experiences. You will come to our website to download your merit badges. We also have digital journal covers and journal pages to place your badges. Digitally. Clawrence would suggest using tape.
Vacation Vanna is also kicking off the summer taking you on tours of Bauble Bay. You’ll visit destinations, learn about the characters, hunt for hidden flip flop images and get your passport stamped in our Store. Again, all virtual. You’ll just download. There are some “special” badges and stamps. Be sure to look for those.
You may sign up for email reminders about camp if you desire. Nothing happens if you miss a day. But the fun is in trying to be first to complete a collection or get your badges before your friend does. Healthy competition is fun!!

Created by Camp Director Clawrence and Assistant Direckter Buzzbee, Camp Clawzee is a free, online summer adventure where visitors can explore Bauble Bay, collect badges, earn passport stamps, and discover the many characters and locations that make our little island special.
No tents required.
No bug spray required.
Snacks are highly encouraged.

As Bauble Bay's Premier Travel Specialist and Dedicated Companion/Honorary Member Department of Tourism, Vacation Vanna will be taking visitors on guided tours throughout the island all summer long.

The first tours are already beginning, passport stamps are being issued, and the camp directors assure us that everything is completely organized.

Vacation Vanna Blows Into Town
Every island has someone who is already planning their next adventure before the current one is over. In Bauble Bay, that's Vacation Vanna. Armed with brochures, postcards, souvenir maps, and enough sunscreen for an entire flock, Vanna believes there is always something new waiting just beyond the horizon. Whether she's exploring hidden waterfalls, searching for secret beaches, or accidentally leading tourists into places that definitely weren't on the itinerary, Vanna approaches every journey with enthusiasm and a suitcase that somehow never closes properly. She has visited nearly every corner of the Baublesphere, collected far too many travel mugs, and remains convinced that getting slightly lost is simply part of the experience.
Vanna is a bird with a suitcase body. She was BORN for travel! She has roller wheel feet and is fond of cute sneakers with little smiley stars on them. Buzzbee thinks they’re starfish and we don’t discourage him.
Vanna is a free spirit and the rules and regulations of being the travel agent on Bauble Bay does cause her some frustration. The Council of Feathers tends to put crimps in her plans. They insist on pesky disclaimers!! You can keep up with Vanna’s adventures in her Passport Pages travel information sheets. She usually puts them out on Saturdays.

Barron is No Longer Barren
Years ago, before she was a regular resident of Bauble Bay, Barron was a lonely, bitter bird. She was glorious to look at with feathers in shades of blue and a somewhat questionable hairdo. Unfortunately, she was what some have called a “Karen” bird. She was rude, impatient, loud, bossy and opinionated. Very. Often. Loudly. Some of her unhappiness stemmed from her inability to have feather nuggets. She was indeed, barren. Poor barren Barron. One day, while accosting a feed store clerk, Barron was approached by a producer looking for birds for his new reality show. FWLTV was looking for birds unable to bear feather nuggets and had heard of Barron. Most people had what with her feather hairdo and disagreeable personality. She ended up on the show and was quite the star. Her salary paid for IEF - invitro egg fertilization. But Barron didn’t just get one feather nugget - she got SIX. That’s right. Six egglets. SIX EGGLETS. Barron, still being quite the Karen-bird, had a loud gestation. With complaints about discomfort. And the fact that she was expecting SIX EGGLETS. But, she had become a somewhat, note that: SOMEwhat, beloved member of the island and the other birds were mostly accepting. They were thrilled over the thought of new, young, impressionable residents.
Barron’s feather nuggets, The Egglets, were introduced to the world on May 10, 2026. Their arrival, like most things in Bauble Bay, was legendary and met with fanfare, announcements, glitter and martinis. And a few bzzchoos.
